Once upon a time, in 1976
A boy was born who would one day grow into a man of considerable wit, questionable dance moves, and fifty remarkable years. Now the story reaches its most important chapter so far, and it would not be a proper tale without the people who filled the other forty-nine.
So we are borrowing a castle (well, a movie theater) for one night. Come for popcorn, cheers, and a big-screen showing of the greatest fairy tale ever filmed.
The when and the where

The theater is my gift to you. Treats from the concession stand are yours to plunder, on your own dime. The theater doesn't allow outside food or drinks.

Perils of the evening
Every great adventure has its dangers. Ours are mostly snack-related.
Rules of the realm
- Quoting along with the movie is encouraged. Saying "inconceivable" at the wrong moment is required.
- Fifty is not old. Fifty is only mostly old, and mostly old is slightly young.
- Every drink at the concession stand is certified iocane-free. Mostly.
- No duels in the aisles. Sword fights stay on the screen.
- Jokes about the birthday boy's height are welcome. Jokes about his age must wait until after the credits.
- No gifts, please. Your company is the treasure.
Will you join the tale?
Seats are limited, so please let us know who's coming. The form asks for:

- Whether you can make it
- How many in your party, kids included
